Wederom een geweldige documantaire van de BBC. Echt een aanrader! Je krijgt dingen te zien en te horen die je niet kunt bevatten. “Er zijn zoveel sterren als zandkorrels op de aarde!?”Gepresenteerd door onze dinosaurus kenner, Sam Neill. Deze docu bestaat uit 6 aflevereningen:

1. Star Stuff - Hoe is het universum ontstaan, van de Big Bang tot het menselijk lichaam
2. Staying Alive - Het universum is een gevaarlijke plek (in het engels klinkt het spannender :p). Deze aflevering gaat over hoe wij “kunnen” overleven in space.
3. Black Holes - Hoe bizar zijn deze ultime monsters, die alles opslurpen wat ze tegen komen.
4. Are We Alone - Uhm, nou? Met zoveel mogelijkheden, het lijkt bijna onmogelijk…
5. New Worlds -Waarom op de bahama’s gaan zitten als je ook op de bodem van Europa (een van de vier grootste manen van Jupiter) kunt gaan wonen. Lijkt allemaal wat ver gezocht en tja dat is het ook zo’n 799.380.000 kilometer!
6. Boldy Go - Als we ooit echt diep het heelal in willen reizen, dan moet er wel een nieuwe revolutie komen in transport…
